About the club
Our club still has several members who were involved with the first exchange (now Journey) from Washington state in 1978. We have maintained our size for several years and have added a few new members in 2019.
About the region
Our region stretches from Vancouver, Washington on the Columbia River to Toledo, WA along the I-5 corridor. It encompasses Mt. St. Helens and the Columbia Forge areas. There are Native American tribes in the area as well as history from the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
About the Journey
Our hosting fee can run from $150 to $200 depending on activities. We always include a trip to Mt. St. Helens and the coast, usually overnight. Our closest airport is Portland International in Oregon. We always pick our ambassadors up from the airport or the train station in Vancouver, WA if they prefer to take the train. We always give our ambassadors a choice for some activities and if there is something they especially want to do, we try to accommodate them.
