About the club
Friendship Force Aichi was originally founded in 1989 by the name of TFF Tokai. The name was changed to the present one in 1997. We currently have about 70 members. Most of our members live in Aichi Prefecture and a few from adjacent prefectures. We like to host two incoming Journeys each year and send out one outgoing Journey. The maximum number of ambassadors our club can host is 20.
About the region
Located in the heartland of Japan, Aichi is linked by direct flights about 30 cities across the globe, and lies midway on an east-west line running from Tokyo, Japan’s capital, to Osaka, the largest city in western Japan. Since ancient times, the area has served as a key transportation hub. Nagoya, the prefecture’s capital, is a major metropolis with the population of 2.1 million ranking along side Tokyo and Osaka. Aichi is known for its bountiful natural environment, and has many sites of historical interest an tourist attractions.
About the Journey
We plan one day bus tour to Kyoto, Nara or Takayama, which costs each person about $100 as an additional fee.
