v      About our club: We are a very active club. Our exciting monthly programme is well supported and we welcome friends to all our meetings. We host two clubs each year. We welcome clubs who would like a "Special Interest" visit to our Island.  The topics we offer are the following: Rambling, a week of planned walks in our beautiful scenery. The Gardening Isle, gorgeous gardens, secret gardens, a RoyalGarden and a botanical garden. A must for plant lovers. History and Heritage  From Romans to recent history. We have it all. Arts and Crafts.Discover painters, potters, printers and patchworkers Visit the Artists.  Workshops and talks can be arranged on request.

v      About the region:  The Isle of Wight is three miles by boat from the coast of southern England. The population is 140,000. The Island is small being only 25miles x 13 miles.  We have a beautiful coastline, rolling hills and quaint villages.  The climate is mainly mild, ranging from 3 degrees to 20 degrees in summer.

v      About the exchange: We enjoy action packed exchanges with one free day. We try to involve all club members in hosting, day hosting or dinner hosting. We mainly live in houses on two or more floors. Planned visits to our ancient attractions require certain levels of fitness.  You will see Castles, Manor houses, gardens, Roman Villas, coastal scenery and much more.
