Born to English parents in New Zealand, Emma immigrated with her family to Australia during her elementary school years. Growing up in Australia Emma had the opportunity to live in a variety of places, from a small coal-mining town in rural Queensland to metropolitan cities such as Newcastle and Melbourne.

Emma moved to the United States in 2005 and whilst living here she has been afforded the opportunity to widen her travels and has spent time in Germany, England, the Netherlands and Turkey. In 2008 Emma completed a BA in German with a concentration in International Business at Georgia State University.

Along with a keen sense of wanderlust Emma enjoys foreign and independent films, ethnic music, and enjoys exploring cultures and cuisines from all over the world.
