Debbie Powell - Manager of Program Planning and Development

Debbie comes to us from Southeast England and has been in the U.S. since 1997. She has a degree in German and Japanese from the University of Cardiff in Wales and also had the opportunity to study at universities in Paris, Bavaria and Tokyo. After graduation, Debbie moved to Japan where she lived and worked for four years, firstly in rural Japan as a teacher and then in central Tokyo as a consultant for Japanese companies. Debbie has traveled to 31 countries and has been with Friendship Force International since January 2000. Her loves are dance, foreign languages and, unfortunately for her friends, karaoke.
