Rebecca Shaw - Communications Coordinator

In true Friendship Force fashion, Rebecca Shaw, a native Atlantan by birth, was lured by the charm of distant lands. When she first set eyes on the English village of Eaton Bray it was love at first sight. Together with her husband, three children, and multiple Mastiff dogs, she spent 22 years in the UK. Today, she lives in Decatur, Georgia which she says she chose because it reminded her of an English village.

Rebecca joined FFI permanently in February 2008. Her professional background is in graphic design and fine arts. Her job involves working as George’s assistant; she also edits Friendship magazine and manages various other graphic projects.

In addition to the UK Rebecca has been lucky enough to live in Colorado, Oregon, California, and Georgia. While in Europe she travelled quite a bit which she really enjoyed because it brought her friends on three continents – the US, Europe and Australia.
